What we do
The Atlantic Active Alliance is a network for community practitioners working on active transportation projects across Nova Scotia. This alliance emerged in 2018 after local AT advocates identified a need for better collaboration and knowledge sharing across the province. This alliance allows interested locals to access useful programming and educational resources, connect on best practices, and hear about projects happening across Nova Scotia.
Active Transportation Benefits
Active transportation (AT) is a broad term that refers to all forms of human-powered transportation. This includes walking and the use of assistive devices like wheelchairs, cycling, skateboarding, rollerblading, and more.
