Vision
The Atlantic Active Alliance vision is for all active transportation practitioners in Nova Scotia to implement facilities and initiatives in their community that respect local context but are reflective of best practices developed through learning and sharing between them. Through this work, active transportation will become more accessible and normalized options for residents and visitors across the province.
In achieving this, citizens will realize the health, environmental, and economic impacts associated with walking, rolling, and cycling.
Mission
The mission of the Atlantic Active Alliance is to act as a community of practice for people working to ensure that Nova Scotians can access active transportation in communities of all sizes.
